How It Works

An ADHD evaluation is a comprehensive process designed to determine whether you meet the criteria for an ADHD diagnosis. This assessment is conducted virtually and involves approximately four hours of face-to-face time, which may be spread across multiple sessions if needed. After the evaluation is complete, we will schedule a feedback session to review your results in detail. You will also receive a full written report to keep for your records, which can be shared with medical providers, schools, or workplaces as needed.

Do I Need an ADHD Evaluation?

If you’ve ever wondered whether ADHD might be affecting your life, an evaluation can provide clarity. ADHD isn’t just about difficulty paying attention—it can impact time management, organization, motivation, emotional regulation, and relationships. Many people go years without realizing that their struggles could be explained by ADHD.

ADHD symptoms can vary from person to person and may be subtle, especially in adults. If these challenges interfere with your daily life, relationships, or work, an evaluation can help determine whether ADHD is the underlying cause. A formal diagnosis can also open doors to accommodations, treatment options, and strategies for managing symptoms more effectively.

In addition, a comprehensive ADHD evaluation can help identify other factors that may be contributing to your symptoms. Anxiety, depression, trauma, sleep disorders, and other medical or psychological conditions can sometimes mimic or overlap with ADHD. Even if you do not meet the criteria for ADHD, an evaluation will provide valuable insights into what else may be impacting your daily functioning and offer recommendations for support.
