About Me

I obtained my degrees from the University of Victoria in British Columbia, Canada and George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon. I completed my predoctoral internship at Wasatch Behavioral Health in Provo, Utah. Here, I worked with individuals of all ages from young children to geriatric clients providing therapy and administering psychological and cognitive evaluations.

After completing my postdoctoral training at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign Disability Resources and Educational Services (DRES), I was hired to serve as the Assistant Director of Mental Health Services. In addition to administrative tasks, I provided therapy, administered psychological and cognitive evaluations, supervised master’s and doctoral level clinicians, and taught psychological/cognitive assessments for doctoral students.

While I have worked with a broad range of clients, I developed a specialty in ADHD and have extensive experience with both treatment and diagnosis of ADHD. I also have a passion to serve faithfully as a steward of God and work with adults facing challenges, such as depression, anxiety, stress management, and life transitions.

I am currently pursuing certification in Biblical Counseling through the Association of Biblical Counselors. I am also a member of Covenant Christian Counseling, which is a group of counselors specializing in providing Biblical counseling services throughout Denton County.
